The principle Order from Noise was coined by Heinz von Foerster to describe the dynamics of self-organizing systems. According to von Foerster and the theory of radical constructivism personal perception does not recreate an objective reality. Instead our realities are personal and created by our perception and experience.

Please take a short look at the image on the upper left side. This optical illusion is called the Kanizsa Triangle. In his book The Intelligence of Moving Bodies Carl Ginsburg, one of my very inspiring teachers says: “In the case of the Kanizsa triangle the perception of the so-called illusory triangle cannot be dispelled by the knowledge that it is not really there on the page. This is an important observation because it demonstrates that the objective processes and rational cognitive knowledge have no power over the process of perception.”
He continues with “Whatever we mean by ‘mind’, however, must relate to the interaction of a living organism and the world in which it lives.”

In all of my professional domains, such as teaching, researching and performing these words are my leitmotiv. Welcome to my domain.
